ST. ORRES CREEK & BEACH

Through the generosity of coastal property owners John and Mary Sue Erickson, RCLC was granted an access easement in July 2002 along St.Orres Creek just north of the town of Gualala and across Highway 1 from a well-known local landmark, St.Orres Inn and Restaurant.

This easement will eventually provide access for the public to a scenic gulch, ocean cove and cozy beach where the creek flows into the ocean. Prior to the Erickson's offer, there has been little or no public access to the ocean along this stretch of the coast.

RCLC is now engaged in planning the required improvements and obtaining the appropriate permits. Once the permits are obtained, funding will be solicited to fully implement this gift to the public from the Ericksons.
